Lovey Lamb and the Lost Path

Theme: Trusting God even when we’re afraid

Bible Verse: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1

Lovey Lamb and the Lost Path

Meet Lovey Lamb

Lovey Lamb was a little lamb with a big heart and tiny hooves.
She loved hopping through the meadows and following her shepherd, David.

The Shepherd

The Shepherd

David was her kind shepherd.

He sang joyful songs while leading the sheep and carried a staff to keep them safe.

The Butterfly

The Butterfly

One sunny morning, Lovey saw a shiny blue butterfly.

She giggled and followed it into the tall grass, her hooves barely touching the ground.

Lost!

Lost!

When the butterfly flew away, Lovey looked up…

But the flock was gone!

“Oh no,” she bleated. “Where is my shepherd? Where are my friends?”

Remembering

Remembering

She felt a little scared. The trees looked taller, and shadows danced around her.

Then she remembered what David always said:

“Don’t be afraid. The Shepherd knows the way.”

Listening

Listening

Lovey stood very still and listened.

Far off in the distance, she heard it—a soft, familiar song.

David was calling her name!

“Lovey! Lovey! I’m here!”

Found Again

Found Again

Lovey ran as fast as her little legs could go.

Soon, she saw David standing near a big oak tree, the flock behind him.

He scooped her up with a warm smile.

“I knew you’d hear me,” he said. “You’re safe now.”

Safe and Loved

Safe and Loved

That night, under the stars, Lovey felt warm and loved.

She snuggled in the grass, close to the other sheep.

She knew one thing for sure:
Even when she feels lost, her shepherd will always find her.

Moral of the Story

God is like a good shepherd. Even when we feel scared or alone, He never stops looking for us—and we can always trust Him to lead us home.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." – Psalm 23:1

Ending Prayer

Dear God,

Thank You for being our Good Shepherd.
When we feel afraid, help us to stop and listen for Your voice.
Thank You for always finding us and bringing us back home.

Amen.
